Ampex 300 - 4 Track 1/2" Reel To Reel Master Tape Recorder

I recorded some wonderful music with this machine.

I'm selling my beloved Ampex 300 - ½" 4 track (7.5-15-30 IPS). I have owned it since 1968 and it's in excellent condition. This machine was updated with Inovonics 355 record/play electronics in 1971. Price includes the machine as pictured in an original Ampex cabinet, two Inovonics 355 R/P units (serial #s 056 and 059), Inovonics 904 power supply (serial # 003), all power cables, including the original Ampex power cord, two original reel hold downs, ½" splice block, very rare 30 IPS speed adapter sleeve and the back for the cabinet. Also included is the original Inovonics 355 manual and 4 spare indicator lamps. This is a reliable machine that sounds amazing. Machine cabinet measures 65"H X 25-½"W X 28"D and weighs around 200 LBS. You will need a truck or van to transport. This is pickup only. No shipping. Reply with a phone number and I'll call you. SOLD: December 23, 2018.  I'm selling my beloved Ampex 350 2 track (½ track - 7½ & 15 IPS).  I have owned it since 1969.  Email me if you are seriously interested.  I will NOT ship this machine.  It must be picked up.  I haven't settled on a price yet, but have an idea of what I'd like to get for it.

Included is the machine as pictured plus the two original power supplies, reel hold downs, all cables and an empty 10½" reel.  It has a new pinch roller/idler.  I also have the Ampex manual that came with the machine.  More pictures will be posted soon.

BASF - Reel To Reel Tapes - ¼" x 7"

I have a complete music library - ¼" x 7” BASF magnetic audio reel to reel tapes (40) for sale. The material was recorded at 7½ IPS. I forget who produced these. If I come across that information, I’ll post it.  You could always bulk erase them, record over them or sample them.  I will try to keep shipping as low as possible. I will ship USPS media mail as long as my small box supply lasts. Then, it will probably be USPS flat rate.  They are $7 each.

For Sale - Sony MX-16 8x4 Audio Mixer

SONY MX-16,8x4 audio mixer. It has 8 line or microphone inputs and 4 channels out using ¼" and RCA jacks. It has 4 effects ins/outs using RCA connectors. Each channel has an output channel select, an input attenuator (0, -10, -20, -30 db), a Line/Mic input selector and a gain/volume slider control. There is a ¼" headphone output jack with a level control. It has 4 large VU meters and yes, all lights work. It comes with the lid and the original Sony product brochure from 1973. Good cosmetic external condition with a few scuffs, but no dings. The mixer top is very clean. Excellent working condition and sounds fabulous! Must be picked up - 30 miles north of Santa Barbara, CA.
